In The Prairies...

I am in the dry, cold prairies for a little bit. To be with family, friends and until the snow melts over the mountains. Then I will return to the island or perhaps go somewhere else. I'm here to find out what else I can do besides what I have been doing, which does not make me happy.
 It's flat and brown.

Wide open spaces. Nothing here but me and my thoughts.

Coffee, Anyone?

I live literally 25 steps from the Kings location and I can smell the aroma of of the beans being made into a fresh cup of coffee just for me. I love this coffee and the price is right for me. But the one thing that I don't like about this location especially is the attitude or feeling I get from the staff. They treat you like a wannabe barista and that you have no knowledge of any coffee concoction. I do agree with the other review of "Soup Nazi". Just order fast, tip out and step to the side. I went regularly when I first moved here but now I only go when I have no coffee in the house and I am in desperate need for a "fix".

Happy New Year.

So this year is going to be better then the last, right? Not so far. Spent News Years working and alone. And I'm broke. In the hole actually. Its a nice place so far.
Depression is a comfortable shoe. But I have started to look forward because the past is far to ugly and horrible to look upon.
I cannot figure out how to add anything to this blog beside my posts and picture.
So I will add 365. One a day. Seems to be a popular notion, so I will join the bandwagon.
Thats it for now.
I hope your New Year will be better then mine has started to be.

Fire.

I don't have any pictures or evidence. But I walked outside my building and a man was standing there. I walked up to him and he said be careful there is a car on fire. So i looked and it was smoking with a little flamage underneath. He looked calm. I would be freaking out. He said that the car was revving higher then normal. He already called the fire station and a cop was directing traffic. I love Quadra St. Something always happens here. Even if all you want is a coffee and the morning paper.
